Having started out playing the ‘tabla’ alongside his father in concerts, Pawas’ musical prowess was evident. Soon enough he spread his wings and evolved, teaching himself to play numerous other instruments including percussion, bass guitar, and keyboards. Following close on his father’s heels, Pawas eventually chose to pursue a career in electronic music. Having gained both recognition and acclaim as a talented DJ around central Europe, production was the obvious next step. His deep, Detroit influenced style of house and techno has become a much in demand recipe for success within the dance music circuit – Funky Business

Spring 2003, Compost head-honcho Michael Reinboth founded Compost Black Label. This sub-label evolved to become a platform for more club-orientated material and continues to unite a variety of internationally renowned electronic composers and DJs. Additionally, it feeds worldwide dance-floors and is celebrated across nights at some of Munich’s most respected club nights; Die Registratur, Harry Klein, Bob Beaman, and Kong
Back with another session and a guest mix. Pawas operates in that space where melodies, musicianship, and atmospheric sounds fuse to create intelligent house.
