“The RX200 is a new version of the Reuleaux series. It still features the use of three removable 18650 batteries and reverse polarity protection. However, the new and powerful chipset has a maximum output of 200 watts and advanced temperature control functions including: Titanium, Nickel, and Stainless Steel modes. The upgradeable firmware and vibrant colour options separate this from the rest” – Wismec/JayBo Designs
Now we fully realise we AIN’T the quickest out of the blocks getting our hands on this latest version of the much-lauded Reuleaux RX200. It has been on the market, kicking clouds, and front and centre of the hype-machine for a wee while now. Although, in our defence, there is some method to our madness in holding off purchasing this handsome bit of ‘box’ until now.
We and the B’ have been very fortunate to have had some up close and cloudy time with the flagship DNA200 rendering of the Reuleaux. In fact, we were sooo smitten and impressed with it, that when the inevitable day came to hand it back to its rightful owner we were more than just a lil’ sad to see it go 😦 In fact, it was just pipped to the post in B’s BEST: Top 5 (regulated) Box Mods of 2015. So when we caught word that Wismec’s sister company Joyetech intended to fit out the insides of the Reuleaux with their very own RX200 chipset, slashing the price-point in the process, we knew it was just a matter of time before we would be reunited 🙂

Finally and for the record, vapers (in UK at least) might just be reaching the twilight of the golden age of vaping, before the draconian and regulatory impact of Article 20 of the TPD is implemented in May of this year. It’s 100% a buyers market out there, as we picked up the RX200 for just shy of £40! That’s 200W of fully temp’ controlled, 3×18650 battery power for less than 50 smackeroonies…happy face and mucho 💨💨💨 times.
Road test & review forthcoming…
