This is a passion project and my idea originated by finding the visual action of ‘vaping’ aesthetically pleasing and intriguing to photograph. I am not promoting nicotine consumption. There are many vaporizers that allow individuals to ‘vape’ with zero or very small amounts of nicotine. I am simply presenting this route as a possibly safer alternative to nicotine filled cigarettes. Many have used it as a mechanism for quitting smoking cigarettes as well as a more enjoyable social alternative. Doctor and nicotine expert, Neal Benowitz, from San Francisco General Hospital reported that the latest generation of E-cigarettes and vapes are far less toxic compared to the first ones that originally came out 10 years ago.
